Despite what many believe, working with Partners isn’t “all” about the relationship. Sure, it’s a part of it, but you need to know about your partners, how they market, what they can and can’t do (from an expertise perspective as well as what’s available to them), make joint plans with them (when appropriate), and being a bridge between the Partner and your corporate side of the house…to name a few things.
